#456 - Dishing with Dewey Brinton
Our guest today is 91 years young and a proud alumni of the Huntsman World Senior Games. Duane Brinton, aka “Dewey,” learned how to work hard through the Great Depression, living on a chicken farm. He graduated from American University and went on to a long career in banking, which took him and his family all over the country. He competed in several sports over his 21 years of participation in our Games including tennis, biking, and road races. Dewey has run plenty of marathons over the years and rode on his bicycle the number of miles equal to his age each year until the age of 81. He continues to play tennis with a group of friends he has had for years; each day, Dewey plays tennis or rides his elliptical. He and his wife Louise have been married 73 years and are the parents of 4 children.
